Tziki was born out of a craving for authentic Greek souvlaki, a craving shared by four friends with roots in Athens, Chios, Kefalonia, and Cyprus. We specialize in freshly prepared, made-to-order souvlaki and gyro, bringing a true taste of Athens to New York City.
At Tziki, we're passionate about crafting traditional Greek souvlaki with authenticity. We use only high-quality, fresh ingredients, and prepare everything in-house daily with refined culinary techniques. Our dedication to time-honored recipes and premium ingredients offers a genuine taste of the Mediterranean and a culinary journey to the streets of Athens.
Inspired by the first modern souvlaki shop, opened in Athens in 1924, Tziki continues that legacy in New York City a century later. Chelsea, a neighborhood close to our hearts, was once a vibrant hub for Greek immigrants. With Tziki, we hope to rekindle that culinary heritage in a place where it once thrived.

Tziki’s vibrant character is brought to life through the collaboration with Alexandra Manousakis, a Cretan artist who has infused the space with her unique blend of contemporary Greek aesthetics and urban energy.
